At Teeling Whiskey we believe in driving the evolution of Irish Whiskey through the creation of unconventional and unique expressions. Our Wonders of Wood Series is part of this innovative mission as we strive to push the boundaries of flavour by using unique styles of wood for maturation.

WONDERS OF WOOD #1

Teeling Whiskey is proud to announce the release of Teeling Wonders of Wood Single Pot Still Chinkapin Oak Whiskey. Produced at Dublin’s first new distillery in 125 years, this limited-edition bottling builds on Teeling’s reputation of crafting award-winning expressions of Irish Whiskey. With its unique cask maturation, Single Pot Still Chinkapin Oak explores the full spectrum of flavours that Irish Whiskey can offer.

50% ABV, triple distilled, non-chill filtered.

NOSE

Sweet toffee, butterscotch, caramel biscuit and wood tannins
PALATE

Banana bread, ginger spices, velvety cream soda
FINISH

The wood spice, dark chocolate and a black pepper

WONDERS OF WOOD #2

The second edition of our Wonders of Wood bottlings consists of our single pot still crafted from a recipe of 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley which has been triple distilled in our Dublin distillery and fully matured in virgin Portuguese oak casks.

Proudly bottled at 50% ABV with no chill filtration, for true character.

This Whiskey is a celebration of our spirit of innovation here at Teeling Whiskey, with each step of the process imparting a distinct character unique to us. Hand selected casks of grain and malt whiskey are initially fully aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then married together in Central American rum casks for up to 12 months for a unique, dried fruit profile.

SINGLE GRAIN

Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey is crafted using an unconventional mash bill consisting of 95% corn and 5% malted barley that has been column distilled and matured exclusively in American Red Wine casks, imparting a highly distinct red-berry and tannic profile.

Made with Irish Whiskeys distilled from 100% malted barley, matured and finished in casks that impart the influence of five wine casks (Virgin American Oak, Ruby Port, Caravelos White Port, Madeira, and Bourbon). This Irish Single Malt Whiskey delivers a unique fruit-forward flavour profile that is complex, yet balanced and has often been described as “a symphony” of flavour.
