what are the teeling whiskey distillery opening hours?
The Teeling Whiskey Distillery is open 7 days a week. We’re open all year round apart from 24th, 25th and 26th December.
Tours: Monday – Friday 12pm – 6pm, Saturday 11am – 7pm, Sunday 12pm – 6pm
Gift Shop: 12pm – 7pm
Phoenix Café: 8am – 4pm (Mon-Fri), 10am – 6pm (Weekends and Bank Holidays)
where are you located?
The Teeling Whiskey Distillery is located in the historic Liberties area, right in the heart of Dublin’s City Centre. Click here for directions.
how do i book tickets?

do i have to book in advance?
We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. We have a limited number of spaces on each tour and often sell out in advance.
can i book the teeling whiskey distillery for an event?
Yes you can we have options to book various meeting and event spaces during the day as well as options to rent out the full distillery for larger events after our normal opening hours. Please contact the events team for more information – events@teelingwhiskey.com.
can i just arrive at the teeling whiskey distillery without a booking?
You can arrive at the Distillery without a booking however we cannot guarantee availability particularly at peak times. We will do our very best to get you on the next available tour but we would advise booking in advance to secure a place on the tour.
what is the best way to the teeling whiskey distillery by public transport?
We are conveniently located along all three of Dublin’s Hop On Hop Off bus routes. https://dodublin.ie/

- We are a 19 minute walk from both Stephen’s Green & Harcourt Street Luas stops
- We are a 30 minute walk from Tara Street Dart Station

is there car and/or coach parking available?
Yes, there are a limited number of car pay and display parking spaces as well as a limited number of parking spaces specifically for coaches outside the distillery.
how long does a tour last?
The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes including the tasting.
are the tours guided?
Yes- all of our tours are fully-guided by one of our Teeling Whiskey Ambassadors.
i can no longer make my tour, is it possible to reschedule?
No problem but please let us know as soon as possible so we can resell the tickets as we have a limited number of spaces on each tour. To reschedule please contact our reservations team on +353 1 531 0888 or reservations@teelingwhiskey.com.
what if i am late for my tour?
If you arrive up to 10 min after your tour time we will try our very best to have you catch up with the tour. If you arrive after this time unfortunately you will not be able to join you scheduled tour. However we will do our very best to get you on the next available tour. We recommend that you arrive 10 mins prior to you scheduled tour time.
can children come on the tour?
Children are welcome to accompany you on the tour. Children under 10 years old are free and 10 -17 year olds are €10 and we offer them a soft drink whilst you enjoy your Teeling Whiskey.
i don’t drink alcohol, do you have any alternatives for me?
We offer a delicious mocktail to any non-Whiskey drinkers.
i don’t have time to take the tour, but i would like to do a whiskey tasting, is this possible?
Yes, we offer Whiskey tastings at the bar every day which includes our core range and our vintage reserve Whiskeys.
i am new to drinking whiskey is there a tasting option you think would be suitable for me?
If you are new to Whiskey we would highly recommend the Teeling Tasting which includes our Small Batch blended Whiskey and a seasonal hand crafted cocktail. If you would like to try a few different styles of Teeling Whiskey we would recommend the Trinity Tasting which includes the Small Batch, Single Grain and Single Malt Whiskey.
i would like to taste some unique and unusual whiskeys can you recommend a tasting option for me?
For something unique and exclusive to the Teeling Whiskey Distillery we would recommend the Distillery Select tasting which features our Single Pot Still, the Distillery Exclusive along with some of our award-winning core range.
do i need to bring a printed copy of my booking confirmation?
No, there is no need to bring a physical copy of your booking confirmation. If you provide your name and email address that the booking was placed under we can locate it within our system. If you are able to bring your booking reference via phone or printed it will make finding your booking quicker.
do i have to purchase a ticket to visit the café or gift shop?
No, everyone is welcome to The Phoenix Cafe and gift shop.
can i take photos and videos inside the distillery?
Of course! We’d love to see photos of your visit. Please tag us with the #TeelingWhiskey hashtag.
is there a discounted rate for large groups?
Yes, we offer a discount of 10% for group of 15+. Groups of 10 or more can be booked in advance by contacting our reservations team on +353 1 531 0888 or reservations@teelingwhiskey.com.
what us the maximum number of people you can book on a group tour?
The maximum number of people we can take on a tour is 26 for the safety and comfort of our guests. If your group is in excess of 26 people we will divide the group into smaller groups with a 10 min gap between each group. All groups should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment. To book a group and coordinate your visit contact our reservations team on +353 1 531 0888 or reservations@teelingwhiskey.com.
are there tours offered in different languages?
We offer tours in French, German, Spanish and Italian for groups of 20 or more when booked well in advance. For individuals we have a printed guide in these languages to accompany your tour.
is your teeling whiskey distillery wheelchair accessible?
Yes. We have a lift in the building which gives access to all stages of the tour. A small detour is required to get to the tasting area at the end of the tour.
do you accept the dublin pass?
Yes, we accept the Dublin Pass.
what does my dublin pass ticket get me?
Your Dublin Pass ticket gets you a Teeling Tour & Tasting session.
what if i want to do a different tour?
You can upgrade to one of our other tour & tastings at reception for an additional cost.
can i skip the queue with my dublin pass ticket?
No, visitors with the Dublin Pass are treated the same as any of our other visitors.
what are the tour times for dublin pass holders?
The tour times are the same for all visitors.
can i book my dublin pass tour ahead of time?
Yes, if you email reservations@teelingwhiskey.com or call +353 1 5310888, you can pre-book your space on a specific tour. We recommend doing so, especially at the weekend as our tours fill up quite quickly. Make sure you bring your pass, as you will still need to present it on arrival.
are teeling whiskeys vegan-friendly?
Yes, they are as we don’t use milk, honey, or any other animal products in any of our Whiskey.
i’m gluten-intolerant/celiac. can i drink teeling whiskey?
Technically speaking, yes. Even Whiskeys produced from gluten grains (barley, rye) are gluten-free as all gluten molecules are removed during the process of distillation.
i’m allergic to wheat. can i drink teeling whiskey?
Yes- all of our Whiskeys are both wheat and gluten free.
