how long does a tour last?

The Teeling Whiskey Distillery tour lasts approximately 60 minutes including a tasting of our very own Whiskey.

are the tours guided?

Yes – all of our tours are fully-guided by one of our passionate and knowledgeable Teeling Whiskey Ambassadors.

if members of my party want to do different tours from one another can we still experience it together?

Yes, everyone gets the same guided tour of the distillery, and are more than welcome to ask questions of any detail or level, the only difference is in the types of Whiskey you can enjoy in the tasting at the end. For the tasting, your guide will direct you to the correct seat. We do our best to accommodate groups that are doing different tastings so you can sit together, and have a great experience, even if your tastings are different.

what is included in the teeling tasting?

The Teeling Tasting includes a tasting of our Small Batch Blended Irish Whiskey and a handcrafted seasonal cocktail. We recommend this tasting for visitors that are new to Whiskey or prefer their Whiskey in a mixed drink.

what is included in the distillery select tasting?

The Trinity Tasting includes a tasting of our award-winning Trinity range; Small Batch Blended Irish Whiskey, Single Grain Irish Whiskey and our Single Malt Irish Whiskey. We recommend this tasting for visitors looking for a good introduction to Teeling Whiskey or looking to try different styles of Whiskey.

what is included in the distillery select tasting?

The Distillery Select Tasting includes a tasting of our Small Batch Blended Irish Whiskey, Single Malt Irish Whiskey, Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey and Distillery Exclusive Irish Whiskey. We recommend this tasting for visitors looking to try some unique and exclusive Whiskeys no available outside of our very own distillery.

i don’t drink alcohol, do you have any alternatives for me?

We offer a delicious mocktail to any non-Whiskey drinkers.

i don’t have time to take the tour, but i would like to do a whiskey tasting, is this possible?

Yes, we offer Whiskey tastings at the bar every day which includes our core range and our Vintage Reserve Whiskeys. During busy periods we also have scheduled tastings which can be booked on arrival at reception.

i can no longer make my tour, is it possible to reschedule?

No problem but please let us know as soon as possible so we can resell the tickets as we have a limited number of spaces on each tour. To reschedule please contact our reservations team on +353 1 531 0888 or reservations@teelingwhiskey.com.

what if i am late for my tour?

If you arrive up to 10 min after your tour time we will try our very best to have you catch up with the tour. If you arrive after this time unfortunately you will not be able to join you scheduled tour. However we will do our very best to get you on the next available tour. We recommend that you arrive 10 mins prior to you scheduled tour time.

can children come on the tour?

Children are welcome to accompany you on the tour. Children under 10 years old are free and 10 – 17 year old’s are €10 and we offer them a soft drink whilst you enjoy your Teeling Whiskey.

DISTILLERY EXCLUSIVE WHISKEYS

do you have any whiskeys that are exclusively available in the distillery?

Yes, we have a distillery exclusive bottling as well as two rotational single cask whiskeys as part of our Fill Your Own station.

what is your distillery exclusive bottling?

Our distillery exclusive bottlings are sold exclusively in the distillery and are matured in casks made of unique and interesting types of wood. We offer optional personalised labels for the whiskey, perfect as a memento or gift.

what is your ‘fill your own station’?

We have a Fill Your Own station located in our Gift Shop, where visitors can fill their own bottle of whiskey straight from the cask and add personalised labels
to their whiskey. There are two rotational single casks on offer at the Fill Your Own station, each of which is exclusive to the distillery.

SINGLE MALT EXPERIENCE

how does the single malt experience differ from the regular tour?

The Single Malt Experience consists of a guided tour of the distillery, followed by an intimate, elevated tasting of Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey, Brabazon Single Malt Irish Whiskey, Revival Single Malt Irish Whiskey and Distillery Exclusive 23 Year Old Rum Finished Single Malt Irish Whiskey These offerings are subject to change but if replaced due to availability issues will be replaced by similar Teeling Whiskey offerings. Please contact us directly for further information. This is an experience for the Single Malt aficionado and the tasting contains more in depth information.

how often does the single malt experience take place?

The Single Malt Experience takes place twice daily at 12pm and 4pm.

how many people can take the single malt experience at once?

The maximum capacity of the Single Malt Experience is 12 people.

can i do a single malt experience if the rest of my party are doing one of the regular tastings?

If you are doing the Single Malt Experience while the rest of your party are doing a regular tour and tasting, your party will remain together for the tour portion, however the Single Malt Experience tasting is separate from the regular tastings.

SPECIAL EVENTS

can i book the teeling whiskey distillery for an event?

Yes, we have options to book various meeting and event spaces during the day as well as options to rent out the full distillery for larger events after our normal opening hours. All enquiries should be sent to our events team – events@teelingwhiskey.com.

what events spaces do you offer?

We have a wide range of event spaces available to cater for a large range of styles and sizes of events. Below is a breakdown of each space.

Exhibition Area:
Suitable for drinks and canapé reception, seated dinners and presentations.

Capacities:
Standing Reception – 250 people
Seated Event (Chairs only) – 200 people
Seated Dinner – 120 people

First Floor Space:
This open plan area gives guests private access to two bars and is ideal for both formal and informal occasions.
Capacities:
Standing Reception – 250 people
Seated Event (Chairs only) – 200 people
Seated Dinner – 140 people

Alchemy Room:
The Alchemy Room is an atmospheric, unique space suitable for private meetings, presentations and seated lunches and dinners.

Capacities:
Seated Event (Chairs only) – 50
Seated Meal (One table) – 30
Seated Meal (Two tables) – 50

The Finishing Room:
A private bar complete with private balcony, this unique space is the perfect venue for celebrations, post meeting drinks, networking events and a range of other functions. The Finishing Room is available for use on its own or in conjunction with the Alchemy Room and/or Pot Still Parlour.

Capacity – 50 people

The Pot Still Parlour:
This room is ideal for private tastings, meetings or lunch as well as a whole range of formal and informal events. It can be used on its own or in addition to The Finishing Room.

Capacity – 24 people (seated)

Finishing Room & Pot Still Parlour (adjoining rooms) combined capacity – 80 people

what is the maximum capacity can you cater for?

The maximum capacity of the building is 250 people.

what is needed to secure a booking?

A non-refundable deposit is required for room/venue hire. Deposit is 50% venue hire rate. An account must be set up in order to issue deposit invoice. For our VIP masterclass/business pack, prepayment is required in full.

how long can i hold a provisional booking for?

We can hold a date for a period of 2 weeks, after which a deposit is required to secure your booking. In saying that, we do try to be flexible and work with our clients as much as possible.

what time can we access for set up?

Access for set up purposes can only be permitted from 5.50pm on the ground floor & 7.15pm on the first floor. This is to avoid disruption to our tours. These times allow for guest access from 7.30pm.

Access for second floor spaces (Alchemy, Finishing Room, Pot Still Parlour) are as agreed with Events Team.

can i access any earlier for full venue events?

This is assessed on a case by case basis, however we try to be flexible where possible. Bear in mind this would require an additional fee.

can i get a bar extension?

Unfortunately we do not operate a late bar. There are no exceptions and this cannot be purchased. Standard bar times apply for last orders. Guests will be required to leave the premises at the below times:
Sunday: 11.00pm
Monday – Thurs: 11.30pm
Fri & Sat: 12.30am

can i bring in my own food?

All catering for events at Teeling Whiskey Distillery must be supplied by an approved catering partner of Teeling Whiskey Distillery. We do not permit any other caterers.

can i bring in my own drink or corkage?

Guests are not permitted to supply their own beverages.

can we use our complimentary tour on another day?

Where a complimentary tour is included, it must be redeemed on the day of your event only.

do you do gift cards?

We offer Gift Cards in a range of different values

where can i get a gift card?

You can purchase a gift card online here or in the distillery gift shop.

how will i receive my gift card?

If you purchase your gift card in the Gift Shop, we will give it to you there and then. If you purchase your gift card online, it will be posted to you.

what can my gift card be used for?

Gift cards can be used to purchase tours, at the Phoenix Café, in the Gift Shop or at the Bang Bang bar.

how do i use my gift card?

Present your gift card at any of the accepted areas above and the balance of your purchase will be deducted. You will then be given your new balance.
